EQUAL PAY FOR EQUAL WORK!
In today’s society men and women are both told that everyone has and deserves equal opportunities. Women incline to not receive the same wage outcome as males in kindred positions. In America, there are certain gender roles that we apply to the men and women in our lives. There are people who transgress the rules of society and culminate up in positions that are most often visually perceived as taboo. Such as, the stay at home dad or the female CEO. Men are optically discerned as the providers and women the housewife and/or in the fortifying role of the man. Most people will always gainsay there being subsistence of a male or female job position but, society shows something different. Additionally, it can be seen that depending on who’s in which position that there are differences in the payment for each gender. It can be visually perceived that women despite having the same positions as men in similar workplaces, often get paid less regardless of having the same amount of experience, this is due to societal norms, motherhood penalties, stereotypes, and biases.

ManagersManagers are one of the more crucial decision makers in the wage process. There influence is high since they are they one with control of wages and employment.

The White HouseOut of all three their role is most important. Having government influence companies to adjust to new rules may be the only way to decrease the gap.
